Henley has the third most envied lifestyle in the UK, according to a new study.
A survey by Calculator.co.uk found a growing preference for suburban living, especially among those able to work remotely since the pandemic.
Three thousand people took part in the survey which aimed to discover the top 10 places to live in post-pandemic Britain.
Henley ranked highly for its riverside setting, proximity to London and its rowing events.
St Ives in Cornwall topped the list, offering a mix of nature and culture with a fishing harbour and numerous art studios.
The top five also featured the spa town of Harrogate in north Yorkshire, which came second for its architecture, gardens, and strong community spirit, Bath in Somerset, appreciated for its Georgian architecture and rich history, and Sandbanks in Dorset, known for its luxurious properties and stunning beaches.
A spokesperson for Calculator.co.uk said: "The pandemic has clearly reshaped how Britons choose their living environment.
"Our survey reveals a growing interest in locations that combine the tranquillity and space of rural areas with the convenience and vibrancy of city life.
"The 100 areas voted in our survey exemplify the evolving aspirations of Britons in the post-pandemic era."
Salcombe in Devon, Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, the Welsh town of Conwy, Melrose in the Scottish Borders and Ascot in Berkshire made up the top 10.
