A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said on Monday afternoon: “We are appealing for information to find a missing girl from Abingdon.

“We would ask anyone who travels on the trains and busses locally in Oxford and Didcot to look out for her, as she often uses public transport.

“Our investigation has discovered that Alexis also has links to Birmingham, Greenwich Heights in London, and Gillingham in Kent.

“If you see Alexis, would we ask that you please call 999.
