A person has been killed on the tracks at a railway station on the route to Gatwick Airport.
Emergency services including British Transport Police and paramedics raced to the Earley railway station at around 10.25am today (Tuesday, August 6).
Reports of a casualty on the tracks were confirmed as a person, whose gender has not been confirmed by the force, was pronounced dead at the station.

British Transport Police confirmed that the death is not thought to be suspicious.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Earley railway station at 10.25am today (August 6) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
