POLICE are appealing for information for witnesses after a car was broken into and stolen in Chinnor.
On Friday (August 2) at about 6.35pm, on the junction of Keens Lane and the High Street, a car was broken into and then stolen, along with a leather bag, sports jacket and car battery which had been left in the car.
The car was a silver Mercedes C220 with the registration RO***KK.

The offender has been described by police as a 'white male, approximately 6ft tall, and of a larger build with a bald head'.
They were wearing a white and black chequered shirt, beige trousers and black shoes with white shoes.
Investigating officer PC Aled Pal is now appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
He said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone with information about what happened, to please come forward.

“We are also asking anyone who may have dash-cam, or CCTV footage that could assist our enquiry to please come forward.
