Movie superheroes and heroines will be gracing Banbury every Saturday this August.
Characters including Deadpool, Wolverine, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn, will be descending on Castle Quay each weekend.
On August 10, between 11am and 2pm, visitors can meet Deadpool and Wolverine at cinema The Light.
This event follows the release of a blockbuster movie featuring the characters, which sees Deadpool and Wolverine try to save Deadpool's universe by working with the Time Variance Authority.
After meeting the characters, visitors can watch the movie at The Light.
A week later, on August 17, the centre will welcome two iconic female movie characters, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn.
From 11am to 2pm, visitors can meet and greet these two contrasting characters.
Wonder Woman, from the DC Comics Universe. is famous for her superhuman strength and combat skills, while Harley Quinn, an anti-heroine and frequent adversary of Batman, is recognised for her chaotic and unpredictable nature.
Both performers will be available for meet and greets and will pose for a selfie.
On August 24, Titan, an eight foot, interactive roaming robot entertainer will be visiting the centre between 11am and 2.30pm.
It will be entertaining the crowds with its unique blend of robotic comedy, dancing, theatre and music.
Rounding off the event, Bumblebee and Megatron, from the Transformers franchise, are set to entertain visitors on August 31 between 11am and 2pm.
The centre said: "These iconic, larger-than-life characters should definitely bring the wow factor to the centre."
Castle Quay is also offering two chances to win a £25 gift card to spend at The Light.
Visitors can share their coolest photos with the centre’s superhero visitors in the comments of the events Facebook post to win one gift card, with the most creative shots being rewarded.
A second gift card is up for grabs by picking up a free superhero colouring sheet from the customer service desk.
They will then need to colour it in, fill out the contact details, tick the consent boxes and return it to the desk by September 1.
Oliver Wren, centre director at Castle Quay Shopping Centre, said: "We wanted to offer families the chance to experience some memorable, free fun, on us during the summer holidays.
"It can get especially difficult to keep kids amused for six weeks - so this superhero activity should really help keep them entertained on Saturdays.
"The Light offers an incredible cinematic experience, so I’m sure these visits will inspire people to watch a blockbuster on the day or shortly after on the big screen."
