Three men from Oxford have been arrested after a man was taken to hospital with head injuries during the early hours. 

Officers were called to Cowley Road following reports of a fight breaking out between four people on Saturday (August 3) at around 2am.

Two 18-year-old men and a 21-year-old man, all from Oxford, have been arrested on suspicion of affray but have since been released on police bail.

One man was taken to hospital with head injuries but has since been discharged.

Thames Valley Police has now released an image of an individual officers would like to speak to in connection to the incident.

Investigating officer PC Zack Trigwell, who is based at Cowley Police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may recognise the man in the image to get in touch as he may have vital information about this incident.

“You can contact police by calling 101 or online quoting the reference 43240370021.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
