A main road is set to be closed for a week so that major gas works can be carried out.
The A361 Burford Road is closed between Burford roundabout and Lechlade for a mains replacement scheme by Wales & West Utilities.
It closed at 7am yesterday (August 2) is scheduled to reopen at midnight on August 8.
Meanwhile repairs to Halfpenny Bridge in Lechlade are expected to be completed over the next two months.
The bridge is open, and traffic is being managed by temporary traffic lights which are being manually operated between 7am-7pm, seven days a week.
It is important to be aware that the public footpath (Thames National Trail) will remain closed while the works are undertaken, and a diversion is in place.
The alternative route is signed on site.
