A community hall, cafe and 16 new homes have been added to an eco-town in Bicester.
Developed by A2Dominion, the recent additions mark the completion of the initial phase of the UK's first eco-town situated in north-west Bicester.
The new developments on Charlotte Avenue takes the number of completed homes by A2Dominion at the Elmsbrook site to 413.
The company received planning permission in 2021 to transform the former farmland into an area featuring social rent homes and community spaces.
The hub was constructed in partnership with Exel Construction, offering eight one-bedroom and eight two-bedroom social rent apartments.
The homes are designed to be energy efficient, with large solar panels across the roof, and are connected to the district heat network, aiming to achieve net zero carbon and reduce energy usage.
Residents also have access to a community hub garden as well as cycle storage and on-site parking bays.
Steve Hornblow, head of special projects at A2Dominion, said: "We're all really pleased to reach completion of this ambitious project and deliver much-needed social rent apartments to local people in north-west Bicester."
Jack Thoroughgood from Exel Construction, added: "It was a pleasure to work with A2Dominion again to deliver this very prestigious project.
"The high level of specification enabled us to produce 16 excellent quality social rent flats and an excellent community hub for the local residents."
