A Carterton care home has raised hundreds of pounds with a wild west themed summer fete.
The Homestead opted for cowboy hats and boots this year in a change up to their annual summer fete.
The home made the most of the warm weather by hosting the event, which raised £500, in their car park.
Kirsty Ridley, activity coordinator, said: "We decided to change up the summer fete this year, looked at a few options, and decided a wild west themed summer fete would work well.
“It was a great day, we had a lot of support from the local community and most importantly the residents were very happy.
“The weather was just right, the fete lasted two and a half hours and to raise the amount we did was a great success.
“The money will go towards our amenities fund, which will be used for activities and trips for residents.
“Once again, we want to thank everyone for their support in ensuring we had a successful fete and can't wait to do it again.”
More than 150 people including residents, family and members of the community attended the event.
It featured a raffle, tombola, various stalls, refreshments and live entertainment in the form of dancers and singers
The home provides residential and dementia care for 68 residents.
