A new mini golf course has been officially opened at a care home in Chipping Norton.
Residents and staff of Southerndown Care Home were joined by friends and family to mark the opening by golf captain Phillipa.
The home said it "wanted to get in the spirit of the game and provide a permanent feature to the lovely gardens for everyone to use".
Family and friends took part in the event before they enjoyed a BBQ and drinks.
With a number of residents having previously been keen golfers, it presented an opportunity for them to keep fit and reminisce over past hobbies.
General manager of the care home, Arlene Acuavera, said: "We always encourage our residents to keep active.
"This was a great opportunity to move our activities outside to make the most of the weather.
"Our residents and their guests really enjoyed today and it was lovely to see so many of them getting involved and we look forward to many afternoons playing more golf."
Southerndown resident Phillipa added: "Throughout my adulthood I played golf most days in and around Oxfordshire.
"I grew up in a golfing family with my Dad playing and teaching me everything I know."
The home, run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, provides nursing care, residential care, respite care.
