Police have provided an update after a boy had his ear cut while he was pinned up against a wall by a gang.
The incident occurred between 10.15am and 10.30am on Monday, May 20, at Beechfield House in West Bar Street in Banbury.
The victim, a boy in his teens, was approached by a group of individuals before he was then pinned up against a wall.
Police say one of the individuals proceeded to cut the boy’s ear having pinned him to the wall before the victim then fell over and the group then left the scene.

The victim did not require further treatment, police confirmed.
Thames Valley Police has now stated that the investigation has been filed pending further information coming to light with officers yet to make an arrest in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said at the time: “We're appealing for information following an assault in Banbury.
“Call 101 or via our website, quoting the reference number 43240236070.”
