The cost of a night out in Oxford has more than doubled over the last two years, according to new research.

The study, which analysed factors such as the cost of travel, drinks and accommodation, revealed the price of a night out in Oxford has risen more than 127 per cent since 2022.

The average cost of three pints in the city has risen by almost 17 per cent over the same period with the average total cost of a night out now standing at £303.

Meanwhile, London's nightlife costs have almost doubled, seeing it place second on the list.

Three Scottish cities - Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow - made up the top five while Manchester and Bristol also featured in the top 10.
