A power cut on late Tuesday afternoon saw more than 1,000 homes in Bicester and the surrounding areas left without power.
Bicester, Ardley, Fritwell and the surrounding areas were impacted on July 30, but Scottish and Southern Electric Network (SSEN) said power was restored by Wednesday morning (July 31).
The outage, which was reported at 4.30 pm, saw 115 postcodes including and an estimated 1,196 customers without power at just after 5pm.
By just before 8pm, the number of affected postcodes was down to 96, but 1,062 homes were still without power.
An hour later, SSEN said the power cut was affecting 33 postcodes and 433 customers.
SSEN, which had been aiming to restore power by 10pm, apologised for the disruption.
