A YOUNG man accused of trying to pay for the sexual services of an underage girl has had his case sent to a higher court.
William Haslett-Elliott, of Blenheim Drive Oxford, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 30, charged with two counts.

The 27-year-old has been charged with one count each of arranging or facilitating the commission of offence of sexual activity with a child and attempting to pay for the sexual services of a girl aged 13 to 15.
It is alleged that on February 8 in Oxford, he had tried to pay for sexual services of a girl aged 14. The girl cannot be named for legal reasons.
Haslett-Elliott is now due at Oxford Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on August 29.
