A FOOTBALL fan is due to stand trial after allegedly throwing plastic bottles and causing distress at a match between Oxford United and Reading Football Club.
Jordan Clarkson, 20, has been charged with one count each of racially or religiously aggravating harassment, throwing missiles at a spectator area and using threatening, abusive or insulting words/behaviour.
It is alleged that at the Kassam Stadium on February 3 he had been throwing plastic bottles and using threatening words/behaviour towards other people.

He appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (July 30) for his first hearing.
Clarkson, of Lambourn Place, Hungerford, is now due back at the same court for a trial to take place on November 4.
The score at the end of the match was 1-1.
