New photos show the inside of Jeremy Clarkson’s new Cotswolds pub in Oxfordshire.
The former Top Gear host revealed he had recently purchased The Windmill which is nestled in five acres of countryside near Burford.
He reportedly paid “less than £1 million” for the watering hole but has recognised that lots of work needs to be done to get the location up to scratch.
“There is some work to be done on the pub itself as the cellar is too small, the gable end is falling down, the outside decking area is dangerous, the water is unfit for human consumption, the loft is full of dead rats and the lavatories are illegal,” he said.

“And I can’t start work on any of these things now because when I bought the pub, I inherited a long-standing commitment to a young couple who, in a couple of weeks’ time, are having their wedding reception there.
“It’s entirely possible that I won’t get the place mended and open until the icy hand of winter has descended.”
New pictures from photographer Ed Nix show there is still work to be done at the pub though with one shot showing a glimpse inside.
Fans were shocked as videos were posted online last month showing the presenter pouring pints at the pub.

In the Instagram clip, Mr Clarkson said: "Well, we've accidentally opened our pub before it is kind of finished."
Asked what was going on, he said they hadn't planned to open their doors for another "four or five weeks”, adding: "It's going to be many weeks before we've got it open, but by mistake, we've got very many people in here."
Shortly after purchasing the pub, Mr Clarkson discovered shortly afterwards the nearby area was a dogging hotspot.
“I did a deal and then discovered that there was a famous dogging site in the area,” he told The Times.

“Photographs from inside the nearby lavatories showed holes in the cubicle walls, strong pornography on the floor and evidence of enthusiastic consumption of drugs.
“So I went to see West Oxfordshire District Council, expecting no help at all, and, blow me down, it was very happy to close the dogging site.”
The 64-year-old later found a pair of old red and black knickers in a bush near the pub and uploaded a video of them to his Instagram.
Lifting the underwear to the camera, he said: “Tell me you’ve bought a pub on a dogging site without telling me you’ve bought a pub on a dogging site.”
