Witney Town Band is treating residents to a free live music performance on The Leys as Love Parks weeks draws to a close this weekend.
There will be two hours of well-loved sounds from 2.30pm until 4.30pm on Saturday August 3.
The audience can bring a chair or a rug and a picnic and make the most of our fabulous band while the kids play in the park.
The band is made up of a group of enthusiastic brass musicians who rehearse weekly and regularly perform at events throughout West Oxfordshire as well as competing in local and national brass contests.
It has received rave reviews for its arrangements for brass band from Shostakovitch and Sibelius, plus musicals and original brass band pieces.
The band recently returned from twinning celebrations with Witney's twin town of Unterhaching with the airline misplacing instruments and a last minute reshuffle of players.
But the band rose magnificently to the challenge and represented Witney superbly.
