A recruitment firm has committed to supporting a charity which helps people experiencing homelessness for the next two years.
Oxford-based Allen Associates has chosen Aspire Oxfordshire as its main beneficiary for 2023-25, following a vote by its team.
More than 2,000 of the county's most disadvantaged citizens are aided by Aspire every year. The charity helps those facing homelessness and disadvantage to secure employment and safe housing.
Allen Associates' founder, Kate Allen, said: "Having supported Aspire in various small ways over the years, we were aware of the amazing job that they do in helping people to overcome adversity and build sustainable futures for themselves and their families.
"So, when it came to choosing our charity for the next two years, we were over the moon when our team voted for Aspire.
"We are proud to support Aspire, and it is gratifying to know that our annual donation is match-funded, which means even more people will benefit."
Paul Roberts, CEO at Aspire, added: "It is only through the ongoing support of individuals and businesses such as Allen Associates, that we are able to provide the tailored support they need to rebuild their lives."
Aspire has launched its Empty to Plenty appeal to help it “sustain and scale up an ambitious programme of activities across Oxfordshire", with all donations up to £100,000 being match-funded by a local donor.
