A CCTV image has been released after a person was reportedly filming through a neighbour's bedroom window during the middle of the night.

It is understood the offender was standing outside a flat in Upper Heyford with their phone in their hand recording a neighbour through their bedroom window on Friday (July 26) at around 3.40am.

Thames Valley Police has confirmed it is treating the incident as voyeurism.

Voyeurism is described as the activity of gaining sexual pleasure from watching others when they are naked or engaged in sexual activity.

The force has released an image of a man who may have vital information in connection with the incident.

Investigating officer Police Staff Investigator Francesca Voicu said: “This is currently being treated as a voyeurism incident.

“If anyone has information we would ask them to provide through our online pages quoting reference 43240356329, or by calling 101, quoting the same reference.

“If you do not wish to speak to the police you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
