The stars of TV's Escape to the Chateau Dick and Angel Strawbridge brought their cooking and crafting expertise to the Game Fair at Blenheim Palace.

The couple and their children Arthur and Dorothy rose to fame when they renovated their derelict 45-room chateau in France and turned it into their home and a wedding venue.

The Channel 4 series which started in 2016 ran for nine series until 2022. Last month they aired a new TV show Secret France with Dick & Angel.

The couple co-hosted the VIP enclosure as special guests of celebrity chef James Martin with Dick and James preparing top notch cuisine for visitors.

Dick also gave a game cookery demonstration at the BASC Wild Food Theatre while Angel, who has a passion for flowers and crafting, helped curate the wild and natural floral displays in the VIP enclosure.

The Game Fair was back at the palace for the first time in 10 years with 136,000 attending and over 700 exhibitors and organisations.

Dick and Angel said they were "really thrilled" to be hosts and to cook alongside James Martin and chat to all the visitors.

"For us, it's the perfect way to spend a weekend," they said.

Gemma Payne, The Game Fair's head of ventures and activations, said: "Their infectious energy and passion align perfectly with the spirit of The Game Fair.

"Attendees had an unforgettable time in their company, and enjoyed some exceptional field to fork produce."
