A MAN was caught hanging a banner on a railway bridge in the capital and refusing to get down.
Simon Murray, of Magdalen Road, Oxford, was caught on June 24 this year causing the obstruction of railway services at Waterloo Railway Station in London.
The 59-year-old was caught climbing onto the railway bridge, placing a banner and then refusing to get down.

It is unknown what was on the banner.
At Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on July 25, Murray pleaded guilty and was sentenced for the offence.
He was given a period of conditional discharge for six months as the court heard he was ‘planning to change the way he expresses his feelings’.
Murray was also ordered to pay a £26 victim surcharge.
