Comedian and actor Johnny Vegas described an Oxfordshire railway centre as "an absolute delight" during a visit earlier this week.
Mr Vegas, who has had a number of roles in TV shows, visited Didcot Railway Centre with his family on Wednesday (July 24).
He said: "It is an absolute delight and I am so grateful that there are organisations preserving such national treasures for generations to come.
"What a joy to see a nine-year-old ditch his iPad in favour of seeing the real thing up and close. A new fan for life is secured thanks to all at Didcot."
The centre has a number of events lined-up across the rest of the summer and the autumn.
There will be a number of Steam Days and Discovery Days throughout the rest of July and August, as well as a number of special events and Limited Run Days.
