Fresh plans have been submitted to build 16 new homes in a south Oxfordshire village which the developer says will make a "valuable contribution" to the area.
Essex-based company PBI 2 has applied to introduce the houses to land at Gatehampton Road in Goring.
The site is approximately a six-minute walk away from the rail station and the applicant insists the proposal will make "efficient use of the land".

A planning paper submitted on behalf of PBI 2 says: "The design of the proposed development has been informed by a thorough review of the surrounding area to support the proposed density.

"This approach to delivering the 16 dwellings is suitable to the site’s character and location and makes efficient use of land to deliver housing in line with the requirements."
The developer goes on to say the houses will "make a valuable contribution towards South Oxfordshire District Council's housing stock".
They added: "Attention has also been afforded to preserving the residential amenity of existing dwellings on Gatehampton Road and the newly proposed dwellings.
"The layout of the dwellings has been designed to prevent any overlooking, overshadowing or overbearing harm which could materially harm No.55."
A total of six of the houses would be 'affordable' under the proposals - which comes as developers are required as part of the Goring Neighbourhood Plan to ensure at least 40 per cent of the homes they build are 'affordable' rather than being sold at the market rate.
Of the 16 houses, 10 would be two-bedroom and seven three-bedroom.
