There has been a change of Captain at RAF Brize Norton, marked by an event attended by the whole force.

The station bid Group Captain Claire O’Grady a fond farewell earlier today (July 26).

Group Captain Henton said: “It is a real privilege to assume command of Royal Air Force Brize Norton, the home of the Air Mobility Force and a plethora of other supporting organisations who constantly prove critical to defence outputs.

"Working alongside a truly whole force team of regulars, reserves, civil servants, and industry partners, all of whom have been responsible for delivering excellence on operations, both at home and overseas, is a real honour."

She added: "I very much look forward to meeting and engaging with the people and families at the very heart of Royal Air Force Brize Norton and continuing the successes together”.
