Cricket fans in Oxford have the chance to test the skills to mark the start of the new season of The Hundred.
Sixes Social Cricket, which has a branch in Oxford, has re-introduced The Hundred Challenge, a digital cricket experience that offers groups a chance to test their abilities against digital representations of real-life bowlers from teams participating in this year's tournament.
The Hundred, which was launched in 2021, is a shortened format of the game designed to reach a new audience.
Just like the actual tournament, each digital game delivers 100 balls in sets of five.
Participants can see how they stand on The Hundred leader board, comparing their scores to those made at other Sixes locations and even against real players who have featured in the tournament that evening.
Everyday, Sixes shares the highest scores from the previous day's matches on their social media channels, challenging groups to beat these scores.
Sixes said it is "a perfect way for fans to engage with the sport and showcase their cricketing abilities".
Every Monday, the group with the week's highest score will be rewarded with a £100 gift card, while £10 gift cards will be awarded at random to participating groups.
The game mode features real players in digital-form, which Sixes says provides "a unique and immersive experience that brings the excitement of The Hundred to your fingertips".
