A COURT hearing has been scheduled for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Carterton.
Marc Brown, of Boldon Colliery, South Tyneside, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (July 23) for a plea hearing.
The 49-year-old has been charged with one count of sexual assault on a female. He is accused of sexually assaulting a woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on July 23 in Carterton.

He appeared in the lower court for a plea hearing but wasn’t asked to make his plea.
The case has now been adjourned to the higher court for a plea and trial hearing.
Brown is now due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on August 22.
If guilty, he could face a prison sentence.
