The cast of ITV’s Endeavour has had an emotional reunion with Shaun Evans this week.
Starting in 2012, the crime drama acted as a prequel to ITV hit series Inspector Morse and Lewis.
Endeavour soon became a favourite in its own right, starring Shaun Evans as a young Inspector Morse with lots of filming taking place in and around Oxford.
The story, which covered his rise in the detective world, went on to run for nine seasons and 11 years with its final episode being broadcast on March 12, 2023.

A special reunion was held this week with several cast members including Mr Evans being spotted together on Tuesday (July 23).
James Bradshaw who played pathologist Dr Max DeBryn in Endeavour posted a photo on Instagram of six of the ITV crime drama’s cast and crew as the friends got together once more.
The actor and Mr Evans were pictured alongside Sean Rigby, Abigail Thaw, Anton Lesser and final episode director Kate Saxon.
“Lovely Endeavour reunion,” said Mr Bradshaw along with a heart emoji.

One notable absentee was Roger Allam who played Morse’s boss, Fred Thursday, in the popular show throughout its run.
Mr Evans made an appearance in Oxford earlier this year, meeting fans at Exeter College Chapel back in March after giving a reading.
The 44-year-old actor’s latest project is another ITV crime drama, Until I Kill You which is expected to be released after the summer.
