A SENTENCING date has been set for a man caught with almost 1,000 indecent images of children.
Stephen Ford, of Balfour Road, Oxford, was due to be sentenced at Oxford Magistrates Court on Tuesday (July 23) after being charged with three counts of possessing indecent photographs/pseudo-photographs of a child.
Between April 11, 2004 and October 16, 2023, the 40-year-old was caught with nine Category A images, seven Category B images and 948 Category images.

His sentencing hearing was due to take place at 10am on Tuesday but the case has now been adjourned.
It was decided that the case should be heard at Oxford Crown Court on August 15.
Ford could face a prison sentence or/and a fine.
