THE inquest of a man who died after being knocked down by a bin lorry has started this week.
Entrepreneur Martyn Stringer, 54, from Preston Crowmarsh, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after he was struck by the refuse truck on the A4074 near Benson shortly after noon on March 27 last year.

Mr Stringer died in hospital two days later and his medical cause of death was given in court as multiple organ failure due to ‘trauma’.
An inquest into his death has started at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Tuesday (July 23) and is expected to last for three days.
Witnesses expected to give evidence throughout are police and several mental health services.
