Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond have had a hilarious reunion thanks to a rude car number plate.

The two hosts along with James May hosted Top Gear on the BBC together before moving onto Prime Video together for The Grand Tour.

Despite remaining friends, the trio are not spotted together as often now that the final episode of The Grand Tour has been filmed.

Recently Mr Clarkson, Mr Hammond and Mr May officially called in quits after they signed off on the dissolution of their company which made the shows, W. Chump and Sons.

On July 11th, it filed three documents with Companies House declaring solvency, appointing a voluntary liquidator and making a 'special resolution to wind up.'

The most recently filed accounts by the company indicate an annual turnover of £6 million and assets of £3.8 million according to national reports.

Yet both Mr Clarkson and Mr Hammond were spotted together on Monday afternoon enjoying a joke about the latter’s car.

In a video uploaded to the 64-year-old’s Instagram, Mr Clarkson shows a black Porshe with the number plate ‘D**k H’ alluding to Mr Hammond’s name.

Mr Clarkson then reveals that his friend is actually sitting in the car and can be heard saying: “Why, who could this be?”

“You’re just jealous,” responds Mr Hammond.

Fans hoping to see the trio together one last time will be able to watch the final Grand Tour special, filmed in Zimbabwe, later this year.
