A Chipping Norton care home has welcomed professionals and blue light card holders for a monthly breakfast meeting.
Southerndown Care Home extended invitations to local workers from various care and health organisations, allowing them to meet and network over a choice of Full English or continental breakfast.
The breakfasts at the home were launched in June and are set to take place every month.
A blue light card gives people in the NHS, emergency services, social care sector and armed forces discounts online and in-store.
It can be used across thousands of restaurants, shops and venues.
Guests also had the opportunity to tour the facility and ask questions regarding care.
Arlene Acuavera, general manager at the care home, said: "Southerndown is keen to be part of the community and our professional breakfast allows individuals from the care industry to meet and connect with one another.
"It’s a great chance to share experiences of working within the care sector, make new contacts within the community, and of course, enjoy our wonderful spread provided by our hospitality team."
Southerndown Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers. It provides nursing, residential and respite care to its residents.
Barchester Healthcare supports 11,000 residents across 200 homes for short breaks as well as long term stays.
