A man has been arrested in Oxfordshire after police "smelt cannabis" in his car after allegedly speeding.
The incident happened on Monday morning in Wildmere Road in Banbury as a Thames Valley Police officer stopped the vehicle as it was said to have been driven over the speed limit.
After the car was halted, the police officer reportedly noticed a strong smell of cannabis coming from inside the vehicle.
The motorist then failed a roadside drug wipe for cannabis and cocaine and was subsequently arrested.

Thames Valley Police issued a statement on the arrest on Monday morning and included a photograph of the positive drugs test.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Vehicle stopped travelling at excess speed by local officer on Wildmere Road, Banbury.
“Strong smell of cannabis within vehicle. Driver failed Roadside drug wipe for cannabis and cocaine and was arrested.”
