A brand new 24-hour convenience store has opened in an Oxfordshire town.

Booze and More Express has moved into the Mace Store, formerly Mace Connor's shop, in Broad Street in Banbury.

The shop will be run by couple Gajen and Nitta who are now managing the business with many new features being introduced.

An off-licence and a parcel service can be found inside alongside the usual fixtures such as groceries, magazines and other products.

The new owners said in a statement: “As a family, we're deeply committed to serving the Banbury community.

“We've restocked essential goods and introduced exciting new product lines with more products on the way.

“Keep an eye out for our freshly refurbished shop with a modern look and a new fascia, coming soon.

“We can't wait to welcome you. Feel free to drop by and say hello.”

Payzone and Paypoint services are also inside the new store with the business accepting card payments and contactless.
