Chiltern Railways customers are being reminded the line between Bicester and Leamington Spa will be closed this weekend.
The closure, which will begin on July 27 and continue until July 31, is due to bridge maintenance between Bicester North and Kings Sutton, and tunnel works between Banbury and Leamington Spa.
Rail replacement buses will operate from Bicester Village for journeys to and from Marylebone, Banbury, Stratford Upon Avon, and Kings Sutton.
Buses from Leamington Spa will connect with trains for journeys to and from Birmingham Moor Street.
There will be no through trains between London Marylebone and Birmingham and no services from Bicester North station.
As a result, customers needing to travel through the affected area will have to use the rail replacement bus services, which could significantly extend journey times.
An enhanced timetable will run on the afternoon and evening of July 27, with additional stops at Wembley Stadium due to the Bruce Springsteen concert.
Services will also be busier than usual due to additional passengers travelling because of separate engineering works between Oxford and Didcot.
