Fire crews attended a number of haybale fires in fields surrounding an Oxfordshire village in the early hours of this morning (July 21).
Police officers assisted Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and said the fire, near Goosey, was "likely to remain alight into the morning".
A statement from Thames Valley Police, posted at 12.49am, said: "Our officers are currently on scene near Goosey, Faringdon assisting Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service with a number of haybale fires in the fields surrounding the village.

"The fire is likely to remain alight into the morning.
"We do not believe, at this time, that there is any ongoing risk to local residents or that this incident will cause any disruption.
"The Fire Service will continue to manage the response and provide updates to the public where necessary."
