A man in his 20s was allegedly threatened with a knife by a number of males on Banbury High Street.
The alleged incident happened at approximately 10.30pm on Friday, July 19.
Thames Valley Police has made an arrest in connection with the incident and is appealing for witnesses following the incident.
A statement said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a report of a male with a knife and an affray in Banbury on Friday, July 19.

"At around 10.30pm on the High Street in Banbury, the victim, a man in his 20s was threatened with a knife by a number of males.
"We have made an arrest in connection with this incident but are appealing for any witnesses that may have been in the area at the time.
