A BRAND new episode of the Oxford Mail's newest crime podcast is out now.
The Oxfordshire Court and Crime Podcast takes listeners behind the scenes of all the latest trials, sentences, and more taking place across Oxfordshire’s courts.
Episode 14 continues with the murder trial of Neil Comins. The 39-year-old was attacked with a baseball bat in his Cope Road home in Banbury on January 3 this year.

His housemate and school friend, Janaed Akhtar, was standing trial charged with his murder.
The podcast has already covered the opening of the trial but now goes into detail about neighbour’s evidence as well as the verdicts.
In the second half of the podcast, the episode goes into details about the recent trial of Edward Bressan, who was on trial charged with causing serious injury by cycling wantonly or dangerously.
At around 12.40pm on Sunday, November 20, 2022, Mr Bressan was cycling on the towpath that runs beside the River Thames near Iffley Lock when he was involved in a collision with a pedestrian, Polly Friedhoff, aged 81.
She sadly died 12 days later.
