A SENTENCING date has been set for a driver who has admitted to causing serious injury to a woman by dangerous driving.
Mark Smith, of Cowley Road, Oxford, appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (July 17) charged with one count of serious injury by dangerous driving.
The 25-year-old was driving on the B4039 Lanhill, in Wiltshire, on November 14 last year in a white Fiat truck when he caused serious injury to a woman.

A collision occurred between the A420 and Yatton Keynell. The extent of her injuries is currently unknown.
Smith pleaded guilty to the offence at his first hearing and will now be sentenced at Swindon Crown Court on August 30 this year.
He is subject to an interim driving disqualification.
