A TRIAL date has been set for a man accused of strangling a young child and assaulting another.
Charlie Banks, of Westwater Way, Didcot, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Friday (July 19) charged with intentional strangulation and common assault against two young children.
The 27-year-old is accused of the offences allegedly occurring on June 21 and 24 this year.

He denied the charges along with one count of damaging property.
However, Banks did plead guilty to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm of a woman on June 21.
He also pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without consent and drink driving on June 21.
A trial date has now been set for October 16 this year. He has been remanded in custody.
