Road closures put in place for the European leaders summit have been removed overnight.

Oxfordshire County Council said Langford Lane between the junction with the A44 and Evenlode Crescent was fully reopened at 4am today (July 19).

Stonesfield Road is also fully open from the B4437 junction to the junction at Akeman Street was also reopened at 4am.

Both roads were closed on Wednesday as a part of a major security operation around the European Political Community meeting which was attended by 47 leaders at Blenheim Palace yesterday.

The palace, gardens (including Adventure Play) and parkland were closed from Monday (July 15) and will reopen tomorrow (Saturday July 20).

Local and public footpaths which closed on Tuesday will reopen today. 

Between July 15 and August 2, the permissive paths through Bladon Park will be closed to pedestrians due to the European Political Community Summit and then The Game Fair.
