A motorcyclist in his 20s has suffered life-changing injuries to his arms and legs after a crash with a driver who allegedly fled the scene.
Officers were called to Cumnor Hill just outside Oxford after a white Seat Ibiza was involved in a collision with a white Honda motorcycle when joining the road from the B4017 on Saturday (July 13) at around 2.50am.
The Seat driver failed to stop at the scene and the vehicle was located abandoned later that morning, the force has said.

A 23-year-old and a 26-year-old man, both from Oxford, have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and perverting the course of justice.
The pair have been released on police bail whilst the investigation continues.
Thames Valley Police have now launched an appeal for witnesses to the incident.
Investigating officer PC Matt Stansfield, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please come forward.
“Also, if you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dash-cam, or if you live nearby and have a CCTV camera or a video doorbell, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist us and get in touch if you have.”
