THE sentencing of a drug dealer caught in Bicester has been delayed.
Luis Gafita, 36, was due to be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (July 18) for one count each of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of a Class A, cocaine, and possession of criminal property, namely cash.
He was caught in Bicester on June 14 this year and made full admissions to officers upon arrest.

However, he was unable to be sentenced due to the Crown Prosecution Service stating they do not believe they have sufficient evidence to be able to prosecute.
Barrister Kathy Oliver pointed out that an analysis of the drugs had not been completed as well as a download of the phones which were seized.
She also told Judge Maria Lamb that it was unknown how much money was found in his possession upon arrest.
However, Gafita’s defence barrister told the court that her client had been honest with officers and the probation officers in his pre-sentence report and that any information required by police or the prosecution could be provided by the defendant.
