There will be a 'party' in Oxford to celebrate improvements made to a street to make it more pedestrian friendly.
The Market Street Party, hosted by Oxford City Council, is set to take place on July 25, kicking off at 12pm.
The day will include a welcome from Oxford's lord mayor, Councillor Mike Rowley, an array of family-friendly activities from WhatNot Theatre, The Story Museum, The Space Store, and the Museum of Oxford as well as balloon making and stilt walking.
The evening slot from 5pm to 8pm will feature live jazz by Fifi La Mer.
On this day, the traffic on Market Street will be halted from 10am to 4pm.
