A PARLIAMENTARY secretary has died after experiencing an unwitnessed fall at her Oxfordshire home.
Barbara Cordingly, 82, died at her home address in Bird Close, Banbury after a suspected unwitnessed fall.
Her death was verified at 8.13am by a South Central Ambulance Service paramedic. It is unknown who had discovered the parliamentary secretary had fallen in her home.

An inquest opening at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Thursday, July 11 heard that a post-mortem examination was carried out.
Following this, her medical cause of death has been provided as intracranial haemorrhage and traumatic head injury.
Area coroner Nicholas Graham has set a date for a full inquest to take place into Mrs Cordingly’s death at the same court on October 29 at 2pm.
