THE death of a man who was found unresponsive on the sofa by his partner could be drug-related, an inquest has heard.
Joshua Lacey-Smith, 42, was found unresponsive by his partner after falling asleep on their sofa at his home address in Botley Road in Oxford on May 1 this year.
His partner tried to wake him but failed and the emergency services were called.

An inquest opening at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Thursday, July 11 heard that a post-mortem examination was carried out.
Following this examination, a medical cause of death for the wine specialist has been provided as multi-drug toxicity.
Area coroner Nicholas Graham has set a date for a full inquest to take place into Mr Lacey-Smith’s death on October 1 at 11.45am.
