A PLEA hearing has been scheduled for a man accused of raping a teenage girl in Wallingford.
Karl Miles, of Ipsden Court, Cholsey, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (July 16) for his first hearing.

The 37-year-old is charged with one count of rape, four counts of being an offender 18 or over engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl, one count of an adult meeting a girl under 16 following grooming and one count of engaging in sexual communication with a child.
It is alleged the offences took place between June 2021 and April 2022 in Wallingford.
The complainant cannot be named for legal reasons.
Miles is now due in Oxford Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on August 15.
