Beef smoothies, lactose-free ice cream and goats milk puppacinos are just some of the treats now on offer at an Abingdon dog café.

If you're looking to treat your furry friend this summer and create lasting memories, The Dog's Spot in the town's High Street is a good place to visit.

Opening in 2023 and recently awarded Oxfordshire's most dog-friendly business by blog Oxford City Dog, The Dog's Spot is a top destination for dogs and dog lovers - a pet store, dog café and coffee shop, plus a grooming spa.

With its own menu of healthy treats for hounds, they can enjoy a Summer Sundae made from vegan cream, goats milk and beetroot powder.

If your pooch has a birthday coming up you could treat them and their friends to afternoon tea, including doggy peanut butter sandwiches, 'pawbon' biscuits and pup cakes, all served on fine china.

The Dog's Spot also holds popular weekly events including The Chatty Walk at 10am every Sunday and Tuesday and Puppy Social 2pm every Sunday, where dogs and their humans make friends and share tips.

And for those in need of doggy necessities in a hurry, the pet store offers same-day local delivery. You can order through the website by 1pm and have your kibble in time for tea

Owner Anna Browning said: "We've created our own community of dog lovers at The Dog's Spot, which makes it a truly special place. And of course you don't have to have a dog to enjoy it here - just love them of course!"
