A woman’s rucksack has been stolen after being placed on the floor outside Sainsbury’s at the Westgate Oxford shopping centre.
The bag was placed on the floor outside the shop just before 3pm on Friday, June 28 when the theft happened.
Thames Valley Police has since released an image of a man officers would like to speak to in connection to the incident.

Lead Investigator Lorna Starr, based at Oxford police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may recognise the man in the image to get in touch as he may have vital information about this incident.
“You can contact police by calling 101 or online quoting the reference 43240307229.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
