A Bicester community band recently performed a summer concert to a "near full house".
Bicester Concert Band led by musical director, Wendy Marks, played their summer concert at St Edburg's church in Bicester on Sunday, July 7.
The programme, which was themed around film music, went down "extremely well" with the audience who also watched a performance by the Five Acres School Choir.

The concert was introduced by Band Chair Dave Clack, with the pieces introduced by trombone player Stuart Phillips.
The programme opened with the Dambusters march from the popular World War II film and then followed with extracts from Cruella de Vil and a medley from the popular James Bond films.
After the interval the near 40 strong band played selections from the popular musical Grease, Aladdin and two selections from the work of the legendary film composer John Williams.
The band also played a selection of Broadway hit tunes from 90s musicals such as Beauty and the Beast, Titanic and the Lion King and concluded with a selection from the musical Les Miserables.
