People gathered in the sunshine for a fun afternoon in a West Oxford park.

There were lots of activities on offer on Saturday at the West Oxford Fun Day in Botley Park, behind West Oxford Community Centre.

There was music, food and games at the annual fun day organised by West Oxford Community Association. The event ran from 2pm to 6pm.

Stalls included those run by cycling campaigners Cyclox, Oxford Bowls Club, Oxford City Larder, and Rainbow and Spoon boutique, which is based in nearby Frideswide Square.

Fun activities included a bouncy castle, a dog show, circus skills, beat the goalie, snail racing, hook a duck.

There was also a  barbecue and ice cream for sale.

The community centre runs Tumbling Bay kitchen and cafe which sells a range of home-made meals and cakes, along with coffee, teas and other drinks and treats.

The centre hosts regular groups and activities including health and fitness classes.
